    Greetings!

As graduate students and new professionals, it can be difficult to decide what we want to participate in. We often have many interests and little time. SACES recognized the need to provide a space where graduate students and new professionals can connect and support each other. That space is the newly formed graduate student/new professionals interest network.

Jan Gay and I would like to invite you to our first meet and greet on May 13, 2020 at 1 PM CDT. We want to talk with you and get to know your needs and how we can make this interest network most beneficial to you. Please join us and help us learn how we can better serve you with this group!

Click on the link for the zoom information and password. We look forward to seeing you all there!

SACES Graduate Student May Meeting Vote

    Greetings Graduate Students:

As our semesters come to a close, I am planning our next GS Committee meeting. Please take a minute and vote for the best day/time for you to participate.

We met this past week and offered support and collaboration for each other as graduate students. Support is something we can all use during these unprecedented times. If you were unable to attend, I hope that you will take the time to join us in May. We will be discussing opportunities for the coming year in SACES, especially as it applies to our workgroups.

Your vote for the day/time is important in planning this meeting, so please take the time to vote today.

    Be well!

SACES Graduate Student April Meeting Poll

    Hello Fellow Graduate Students!

Wow how things have changed since our last meeting!  I know this message may find many of you in an odd place, as we have all been navigating life under new expectations with the COVID-19 pandemic.

First, I want to let you know that you are not alone!  As fellow graduate students, I'm sure that many of us are facing similar challenges.  I would like to offer our next meeting as a way for us to come together and feel supported.  We will continue the same line of business as last month, as we did not have enough people join (most likely from effects of COVID-19).  However, more than anything, I would like to offer this meeting as a platform to discuss concerns, offer resources or just have a meeting of like minds.

Please take time to complete the doodle poll to designate the best time for you to meet.  This poll will close on April 6th at 5 :00 PM CDT.  Again, we will discuss the agenda presented last month, so you should have access to that from our previous message.  However, I want to focus on support of one another and how we can come together during this time.

Please email me if you have questions or concerns.  I look forward to meeting with all of you next month!

    Warmly,

Hannah M. Coyt, LPCC-S, NCC, CCMHC
