Information for Employers/Institutional Representatives
Hiring institutions can request a time slot to present their position to interested job seekers at the SACES 2022 conference. To request a job talk presentation and/or access to job seekers’ CV’s, please complete the SACES Job Talks Survey by October 15th. Reservations will be made on a first come, first serve basis. Requests made after the 15th deadline will only be made pending space available. The purpose of the SACES 2022 Job Talks is to facilitate face-to-face presentations of active searches and to facilitate interactions among recruiting institutions and job seekers. The Job Talks Committee assumes that all participants who submit materials to reserve a job talk presentation also register for and attend the conference. There is no availability for “virtual” job talks.
Institutions that request access to job seekers’ CVs will receive a secure link upon completing the survey.
If you would like to advertise your position to job seekers through a Job Talks a virtual drive, please complete the Qualtrics survey and then please email a shortened (1-page) version of your posting to the email address below. The position description will be made available to job seekers who participate Job Talks. Send the position description as a PDF attachment titled in this format:

Hiring institutions that wish to advertise their positions beyond the SACES conference can also post their positions in the ACES Career Center for a fee. Please visit the ACES Career Center website for information.

If you would your CV made available to employers/institutional representatives and are open to being contacted for informal meetings, please email your CV to jobtalks@saces.org.
Please save your CV materials as a PDF in the following format:
Name_Specality Area.pdf.
*Specialty areas include clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, marriage and family, or general area.
All CVs will be stored in a virtual drive as they are received by the Job Talks Committee. Hiring institutions will receive access to the drive after submitting their position description.
*Please note: confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. By agreeing to participate in Job Talks, all job seekers’ CVs can be viewed by all participating universities.
Job seekers are also encouraged to post their CV materials for free on the ACES Career Center.
